The winter white bass bite on Lewisville and Ray Roberts has been pretty good and I have had a lot of happy customers. We have been catching a mix of crappie and white bass on both lakes. The deeper fish have been more consistent as of late however all of that is about to change with the spawn starting to kick off.
The crappie spawn is just now starting to kick off and Im excited to start catching them using slip bobbers in shallow water. Without question that is my favorite technique. if you want to catch a trophy fish this is the time of year to get on the water before they spawn out,
Here are a few photos from recent outings. Check out the tree loaded with SLAB crappie. this was in super deep water and we picked several off it.
