Yesterday started out slow. We went to the same place we have been having good luck at and it seemed like we could not buy a keeper. I had enough of it after about an hour and headed back to one of the feeder creeks and found them piled up. We fished for a few hours and managed a limit with several small fish being tossed back. the fish are getting ready to spawn and gorging themselves on shad. This time of year is my favorite for crappie fishing because they are easy to catch once you find them. We are finding crappie in deep water in the main lake as well as catching them in 2’back in some of the coves and creeks. Give me a call today and get in on some of this action before it slows down.
